Revolution is a visual representation of the thoughts and feelings that music brings and specifically in this piece prince is heavily used because music can invoke different movements such as sparking revolution and Prince is a definite example of that. Prince’s music was very different from most music of his time which was a good thing because it was innovative, creative and even sparked revolution.
Time Watcher
Time is very precious and this piece is a depiction of a man that’s watching time just pass him by and not really in the moment just stuck.
Beauty In The Struggle
This piece is dedicated to black women and shows the beauty and various styles, shapes and forms of black women’s hair but it also shows some of the struggle behind managing and maintaining black hair. With beauty there is always a bit of struggle and pain in the process.
Breaking Point
Everlasting is a depiction of my love for music and how music lives on forever like any art form. Music inspired this piece heavily when I was in a place in my life where I needed a little bit of joy and inspiration so I decided to visit a local record store and the piece just came together.

This piece depicts a black woman with her beautiful Afro out representing her culture and within her Afro has a pattern that resembles that of African culture.
